You will serve as a Drug Demand Reduction Coordinator Program Specialist of JOINT EXPED BASE LITTLE CREEK FT STORY.

Duties

You will evaluate programs for quality assurance and quality management to ensure an organization is in compliance with rules, regulations, and best practices. You will analyze program financial status to prioritize spending within available budgets. You will present briefings to managers to update them on status of administrative programs. You will evaluate situations and use ethical decision-making to resolve problems. You will work with customers to determine requirements, priorities, and resolve conflicts. You will compose correspondence to identify requirements of processes or tests being performed.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current US Army Biochemical Testing certification.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Solving problems in the Biomedical Testing Program; 2) Ensuring Biomedical Testing Programs coordinators are in compliance with work processes; 3)Determining whether funds are being obligated and expended according to goals and objectives; 4) Providing management and oversight necessary to implement and sustain a drug abuse-testing program that includes coordinating the collection, quality checking, handling, and processing of urine specimens for testing or shipment to labs; 5) Developing lesson plans/training aids. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree.

or

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related.
