You will serve as an AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT DISPATCHER in the SOUTHWEST REGION FLEET TRANSPORTATION of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will monitor transportation requests for transport of personnel (TOP), transport of things (TOT), self-drive vehicles (U-Drive), and other
miscellaneous transportation.
You will be required to monitor phones, email traffic, and Transportation Capacity Planning Tool (TCPT) to ensure effective communication with
customers, MVOs, other region dispatchers and other personnel as required.
You will communicate and coordinate closely with the maintenance section to schedule vehicles for preventative maintenance services.
You will maintain a daily dispatch record or trip ticket for each dispatched vehicle, and maintain a dispatch log of all vehicles dispatched.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- On occasion, you will be required to lift objects up to 50 pounds in weight.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating transportation activity, dispatching personnel and equipment to meet scheduled and unscheduled vehicle and other equipment requirements.

Education

4 years above high school
