About the position: This position will be assigned to the Cypress Lakes Golf Course, Travis Air Force Base, CA . Intermittent (Flexible) employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. Physical Effort: Occasionally lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Tuition Assistance after one year!

Duties

Performs simple golf cart maintenance (i.e., replenishes fuel/charge levels, washes) readies golf carts for customer use, including cleaning/washing. Maintains rental equipment in a clean and orderly manner. Maintains area surrounding the club house, to include mowing, weed control and using leaf blower. Fills water coolers on the course. Picks up trash from containers located on the course and at the club house. Picks up trash on/around the parking lots keeping them free of debris. Picks up balls on the driving range using a cart equipped with a ball picker. Cleans restroom facilities on the course and at the clubhouse. Washes interior and exterior windows of the club house. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach and work in awkward positions.
