You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Marine Detachment (MARDET) Fort Sill of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will Lead integration of learning design theory in practice across the Marine Artillery Detachment (MarDet).
You will operate web-based design tools such as the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), Total Learning Architecture (TLA), and the Moodle Learning Management System, among others.
You will guide learning programs and manage associated lesson materials used during self-study or facilitation.
You will represent the MarDet at service level working groups focused on analyzing learning requirements related to faculty development competencies and capacities.
You will plan, coordinate, facilitate, and oversee learning program review boards on recurring major review rhythms as well as to respond to minor review updates that may generate a pen change.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and leveraging technology to build, integrate, and enable digital learning experiences, and administrating a web-based learning management system for self-study within a formal and informal setting.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
