Duties

Serves as Director of the Quality Assurance Directorate, responsible for planning, directing, and reviewing Quality Assurance functions and missions. Establishes Quality Assurance program objectives for the organization. Develops and implements Quality Assurance policy guidance. Coordinates with other organizations/directorates to negotiate, decide on, and/or coordinate work related changes. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities, and establishes schedules for work completion. Develops and maintains an audit program designed to support reviews of all manufacturing, rebuild, renovation, and demilitarization functions. Serves as the principal advisor to the JMTC Commander and Deputy Commander on all quality assurance programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires approximately 20% CONUS/OCONUS travel.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • A 1-year supervisory probationary period may be required for this position.
