About the Position: This position is located at the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC).
Duties
Serves as Supervisor over the Quality Engineering and Planning Division
Establishes Quality Assurance program objectives.
Develops and implements Quality Assurance audit program designed to support reviews of all manufacturing, rebuild, renovation, and demilitarization functions.
Coordinates with other organizations/directorates to negotiate, decide on, and/or coordinate work related changes.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities, and establishes schedules for work completion.
Serves as technical advisor on quality assurance programs and initiatives
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a security background investigation.
- May require a one (1) year supervisory probationary period
Qualifications
Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
