This position is part of the WAPA-SNR-Sierra Nevada Region. As a Realty Specialist, you will oversee the acquisition and management of land and land rights for construction, as well as work with landowners to enable the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of WAPA's transmission facilities in SNR. **This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at the Folsom, CA duty location.**

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: At the GS-11 level, you must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. This specialized experience includes: Experience with assisting in land acquisition methods, procedures, and/or policies of the Federal Government, including the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970. Experience in real estate terminology, principles, procedures, concepts, practices and in various types of land conveyance documents, instruments, terms, and related matters sufficient to assist with a full range of realty transactions. Knowledge of Federal, state, and/or local Government real estate laws. Experience with assisting in project management practices, problem solving, and effective communication. -OR- EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. -OR- COMBINATION: A combination of higher level education and experience. At the GS-12 level, you must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. This specialized experience includes: Experience in land acquisition methods, procedures, and/or policies of the Federal Government, including the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970. Experience in real estate terminology, principles, procedures, concepts, practices and in various types of land conveyance documents, instruments, terms, and related matters sufficient to handle a full range of realty transactions. Experience with Federal, state, and/or local Government real estate laws. Experience with project management practices, problem solving, and effective communication. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience.
