As a Realty Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert & adviser in the areas of developing, administering, & executing programs in support of the acquisition and management of land and land rights, construction & its replacements, rehabilitation, & programs to ensure the safe & reliable operation of the electrical transmission system.
This is not a remote position. The selectee will be required to be physically present at the Folsom, CA duty location.

As a Realty Specialist, you will perform the following duties:
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.
At the GS-11 level, you must meet at least 2 of the following specialized experience statements:
Experience with assisting in land acquisition methods, procedures, and policies of the Federal Government, including the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970.
Experience in real estate terminology, principles, procedures, concepts, practices and in various types of land conveyance documents, instruments, terms, and related matters sufficient to assist with a full range of realty transactions, specifically including easements and fee interests on linear facilities.
Experience in Federal Laws, rules, regulations and assisting with implementing Federal Property Management and Federal, state, and local Government real estate laws.
Experience in Federal laws and regulations pertaining to the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service.
Experience with assisting in project management practices, problem solving, and effective communication.
-OR- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
At the GS-12 level, you must meet at least 3 of the following specialized experience statements:
Experience in land acquisition methods, procedures, and policies of the Federal Government, including the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970.
Experience in real estate terminology, principles, procedures, concepts, practices and in various types of land conveyance documents, instruments, terms, and related matters sufficient to handle a full range of realty transactions, specifically including easements and fee interests on linear facilities.
