You will serve as a MAINTENANCE DATA MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN in the MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION (TRF-430), PLANNING DEPARTMENT (TRF-400) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will be responsible for monitoring interfaces between multiple software applications to ensure accurate reporting to higher authority. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing data to determine if maintenance has been completed on a system or equipment. You will be responsible for automated database, such as being responsible for the maintenance of respective minicomputer databases. You will be responsible for the production of management reports. You will analyze input files, production status reports, and other related files and documents to ensure work-broker functions of Squadron Material officer are being properly and effectively communicated to respective departments and agencies. You will be responsible for analyzing reports for accuracy of data processes and for quality of data received. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance functions and work package preparation processes among staff and planning and production departments.

  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain an IT-II level designation.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in use of software applications (i.e. MS Office Suite and LDS) to perform daily functions including analyzing and presenting data, generating reports, scheduling maintenance and meetings, and routine correspondence. Experience of processes in reviewing, managing, monitoring, reporting and reconciling work orders and Automated Work Requests (AWR's) for adjudication. Experience in consulting and coordinating with senior personnel within the command as well as outside activities to ensure work performed is documented correctly; execute accurate and timely maintenance reports to higher authority. Experience creating unique tracking or job control numbers (JCNs) for scheduled maintenance in order to add additional tasks or work to a work package in a timely and accurate manner. Experience assisting with the monthly performance and Repair-of-Other-Vessels (ROV) summaries and associated computer tapes for upline reporting to the TYCOM and monitoring the accuracy of manpower levels, work centers, and manhours, of each reports and coordinate corrections with Repair.
