You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ASSISTANT in the Comptroller Department (Code 800) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will familiarity with automated systems in order to enter, correct, and retrieve data. You will compile reports, monitor minor projects or programs, the ability to handle various task, projects, etc. at the same time. You will communicate effectively orally and in writing in order to collaborate with all levels of employees, skill in applying analytical techniques to resolve issues or problems. You will customer service by interfacing with customers and advising customers on the resources, services, and administrative processes and appropriate form(s) to use or submit for various procedures.

Requirements

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT Level II designation.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

(GS-06)Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience receiving calls, greeting visitors, and responding to routine requests for information to support a fleet and family support program. Experience utilizing office automation software applications to produce and edit documents with complex formats including correspondence, schedules, reports, and a variety of marketing material. Experience creating and maintaining data, files and records for easy retrieval.
