You will serve as a CRANE OPERATOR SUPERVISOR I in the LIFTING AND HANDLING DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties

You will control the assignment or operation of cranes of railroad rolling stock and heavy construction equipment. You will conduct weight handling or railroad operator training and testing programs. You will dispatch cranes or railroad equipment in support of assigned missions. You will review work while in progress to reduce or control costs. You will plan daily and weekly work schedules, establish priorities on the basis of general work schedules, methods, and instructions from higher level supervisors.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
