This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support (DCMS), Assistant Commandant for Acquisition (CG-9), Director of Acquisition Program Executive Officer (CG-93), OL OPC RIO, Mobile, AL.
Duties
You will serve as Lead Production Controller for the Project Resident Office (PRO), providing waterfront oversight in accordance with established procedures in support of surface ship design and construction programs. Also, you will be Team Lead, responsible for the management and technical direction received from PRO command.

Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-13, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience includes:
Monitoring and evaluating progress for shipbuilding contracts.
Monitoring the development and installation of ship systems.
Conducting onsite reviews and surveys to evaluate a shipbuilder's technical compliance to requirements and regulations.
Conducting studies and preparing engineering economic analyses of equipment planned for replacement, plant layout, material handling coordination, quality control planning tool designing, and industrial engineering.
