About the position: This position will be assigned to the Silver Sage Golf Course at Mountain Home AFB, ID. This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours, however may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits. Physical Effort: Lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 40-50 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.

Duties

Introductory Statement: The purpose of the position is to perform work which involves simple manual tasks that require light to moderate physical effort, and the use of simple hand tools used in the maintenance of the golf course and facilities. Regular & Recurring Duties and Responsibilities: Performs simple golf cart maintenance, (i.e., replenishes fuel/charge levels, washes) readies golf carts for customer use, marks the course for cart control, moves cart control barriers and replaces worn or lost ropes and signs and may mark hazard and drop areas. Maintains ball washers, replaces tee towels, and flags when needed, removes debris, empty garbage containers, and cleans flowerbeds. Assists in the maintenance of course grounds and facilities using simple powered equipment such as clippers, weed trimmers, low-pressure sprayers, powered pavement vacuums, and wet vacuums or steam cleaners. Digs ditches, holes where grading and sloping is not required, fill holes with dirt and level bumps using shovels, hand tampers, and rakes. Digs holes for plants, irrigation system, and tee boxes. Requirements

• Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
• This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.
• This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles and a copy of their official driving record upon request.
