Duties
Review Performance Work Statement prior to commencement of work.
Collecting and analyzing all technical data concerning the Preventative Maintenance Contract (pay vouchers, materials, work data, service contract cost performance reports),
Coordinates and conveys efforts and goals of the contractor and the customer to resolve differences of opinion, conflicts in schedules, interpretations of plans, design, and Performance Work Statement.
Inspects all phases of contracts, materials, procedures, and techniques, verify that contractor performs all
technical requirements of the contract IAW the contract terms, condition, and Performance Work Statement.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The position requires employee to drive a motor vehicle. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license is required.
- Position requires up to 25% business related travel.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
Qualifications
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel in DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify for this position, you must meet the specialized experienced and the educational requirement.
Specialized Experience: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience shall include: participation in reviewing plans and specifications prior to contract advertisement and award; inspection of contractors work to determine if work completed is acceptable and in accordance with contract requirements; preparation of modification documents;
