This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent serves as the Director of the Exhibits and Visitor Services Office with responsibility for the direction and implementation of a nationwide non-partisan program for exhibits and visitor services components of the National Archives.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Managing a large museum, cultural or historical institution, or Presidential Library facility including exhibit development and visitor services; AND Developing an exhibits program for an organization; AND Overseeing a visitor services, volunteer and/or, internship program; AND Raising funds from private sources or preparing budget requests to support exhibits.
