Duties

In this Program Manager (Deputy Division Chief) position you will be providing a full range of complex administrative services for the Mission Readiness Operations Division involving the development and advancement of major aspects of key components throughout numerous USBP stations and sector wide programs. This position starts at a salary of $122,198.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $158,860.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $158,860.00 (GS-14 Step 10). As a Program Manager (Deputy Division Chief), you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and execution of the key mission support processes for the sector. Typical duties and responsibilities will include: Serving as a second-in-command to the Division Chief, fully sharing management of all phases of the organization's programs and work. Providing technical advice and leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating national programs Monitoring and evaluates the delivery of support services to key field managers and employees, and other customers. Directing and oversees the execution of budget, logistics, facilities, procurement, and quality assurance programs Providing a full range of supervisory functions for a staff that provides a diverse range of mission support services

Qualifications

Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Supervising the overall planning, implantation, and execution of logistics program; Developing, evaluating, and improving financial policies, plans, and processes Recommending how resources should be devoted to particular efforts when significant budgetary considerations are involved, directing and overseeing the implementation. Evaluating subordinate supervisors and is the reviewing official of record for the evaluation of non-supervisory employees; Interviewing candidates for positions and recommending appointment, promotion, and reassignment to positions. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 05/03/2024.
