This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Visitors Center, Planning, Evaluation and Operations Division. This opportunity combines the talents of providing leadership, guidance and direction necessary to fully support the successful operation of the Department as well as maintain technical functions and activities, associated with all Audio-Visual and IT equipment used to support CVC activities and events.
Duties
Incumbent oversees the daily activities of a team providing technical support for the visiting public, Congressional clients and AOC partners.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
1) Fostering a culture of learning, sharing, cooperation and teamwork that improves efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization. 2) Providing support for briefings, ceremonies, training, presentations, productions and other events to include rehearsals. (3) Providing AV and IT support utilizing software and equipment such as digital video cameras, digital and analog audio systems, lighting and control systems, and reproduction equipment.
Candidates for the GS-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
1) Fostering a culture of learning, sharing, cooperation and teamwork that improves efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization. 2) Providing support for briefings, ceremonies, training, presentations, productions and other events to include rehearsals. (3) Providing AV and IT support utilizing software and equipment such as digital video cameras, digital and analog audio systems, lighting and control systems, and reproduction equipment. (4) Coordinating a facility workload with the appropriate internal and external contacts to ensure adequate maintenance or restoration of a building and its grounds.
