Duties

This position is located under the Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information, Operational Intelligence Division, Joint Support and Operations Center (JSOC) in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of this position is to provide law enforcement communications support to Special Agents of the Bureau. You qualify for this position at the GS-9 level if you possess the following: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-7) in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Providing operational support in an emergency response or law enforcement environment; AND Using technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, various databases) to extract data and develop reports. OR Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
