The primary purpose of this position is: AFLCMC/HNCA is responsible to stock, store, issue, and distribute over 31,000 communications security (COMSEC) line items and equipment.
Duties
1. Conduct and performs property accountability and management of key COMSEC material.
2. Conduct and manage inventory of COMSEC accounts and control duties. Coordinates and monitors all phases of the inventory process.
3. Perform item management duties. Ensures adequate documentation is maintained to support proposed adjustments and recommendations.
4.Uses varied and advanced functions of word processing software to create, format, modify, edit, and print a variety of letters, reports, memos, and other textual documents.
5. Perform general clerical support work.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include:: Knowledge of governing COMSEC regulations, supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment. Requires practical knowledge of standard procedures where assignments include individual case problems related to a limited segment of one of the major areas of supply management. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
I. Knowledge of standardized supply procedures/functions/operations, fo1ms and nomenclature, program requirements and work methods.
2 Ability to research, compile, maintain and analyze supply information and reconcile discrepancies related to supply records, files, data and document files.
3. Knowledge of supply inventory management and accountability procedures and regulations.
4. Knowledge of common clerical office procedures and routines as well as the ability to operate
word processing/office automation equipment and programs.
5. Ability to ensure proper format, compliance with established policies/procedures, correct spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and basic grammar when preparing correspondence and reports.
6. Ability to follow oral or written instructions and communicate orally in dealing with customers.
7. Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems.
8. Knowledge of automated inventory management systems to include CLASS, CDAS, and CMCS.
9. Performs warehouse functions
10. Performs transportation (freight) and cargo movement functions
I I. Must possess knowledge of safety and security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified infmmation.
