This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-Joint Service Provider (JSP).
Duties
Responsible for the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources; and implementing best practices.
Serve as lead to facilitate the preparation of a sufficiently detailed business case.
Provide supporting information to include critical path and key milestones, costs, schedule and performance regarding assigned projects.
Develop briefing materials and make presentations to Center Chief and other Joint Service Provider (JSP) Centers as part of the recurring Project Management Reviews (PMRs) and as required.
Represent the Joint Service Provider, and the Joint Service Provider (JP) Center Chief, to DISA Headquarters Leadership and external agencies, as required.
Work with external agencies/organizations, both government and commercial sector, to ensure Joint Staff remains current with the state of commercial business technology practices while integrating Joint Staff's IT requirements within DoD standards.
Provide technical oversight on key contracted IT systems and services projects and contracted efforts. Review and approve designs, management, development and integration plans for Joint Staff IT systems and tools.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearnce.
- This is a drug testing position.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience with the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing Information Technology (IT) resources; implementing best practices; and managing or overseeing the facilitation and preparation of a detailed business case.
