About the Position: In this role you will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS), responsible for the management, planning, scheduling, and controlling of the software's development and deployment lifecycle. This includes coordinating various aspects of production and projects into a unified set of processes. Come help PEO EIS and the Army reinvent how software is developed and deployed to the Soldier as we continue our digital transformation.

Duties

Serve as an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS), responsible for the management, planning, scheduling, and controlling of the software's development and deployment lifecycle. Oversee the integration of the release management process throughout the SDLC process. Perform solution delivery oversight, engaging in test and evaluation and release management activities to ensure the integrity of the system. Provide technical expertise to manage system release planning to include developing, updating, and maintaining the organization's Release Plans and ensures allocation of all requirements to a specific release plan. Ensure that all releases meet quality standards and user expectations and obtains approvals of Release Content via the Release Management Planning Board (RMPB). Identify Release Management activities/tasks for inclusion in the Product Roadmap and provides oversight of the System Integrator for release management tasks, activities, and deliverables. Review proposals for change, which consist of objectives, scope, and users' expectations. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders about release schedules, deadlines, and changes.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level 2 (Practitioner) in the Acquisition Career Field - Engineering and Technical Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position requires submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
