Duties

You will correct discrepancies in student files for accurate record maintenance. You will answer a multi-line phone system and provides information to various customers. You will assess and offer appropriate advice based on each candidate's unique situation.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing the student management policies and processes to identify problems, conduct studies and recommend solutions; 2) Utilizing Training Resource systems in reviewing and inputting data; 3) Applying qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of training performance indicators such as attrition, setback, time to train, and course utilization; and 4) Facilitating management of the student pipeline. Note: This information must be supported in your resume. Specialized knowledge of educational programs to provide technical assistance to program managers, instructors, and students. Knowledge of student amnagement policies and processes to identify problems, conduct studies, and recommend solutions. Ability to extract data using various student management systems, including definitions and interpreation of data elements and student performance indicators as relates to training continuum, pipleine, category of training, type course or individual courses of instruction. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and specific Student Control programs. Practical knowledge to analyze student flow and determine scheduling conflicts, utilize educational training programs to coordinate course assignments, and provide educational reports/statistical data on class schedules.
