This position is located within the Network Services Branch, AIF-320.
Duties
The Network Services Branch (AIF-320) plays a critical role within the Operations Division of the Infrastructure of Operations (I&O) directorate administering and monitoring the FAA’s Mission Support Network. These systems and services include LANs, WANs and the FAA wireless infrastructure. AIF-320 detects, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves all network services outages and performance issues as they are identified.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless for both on-Premise network and Cloud (Azure and AWS) and experience working on a large-scale enterprise network specific to routing, switching, dynamic routing protocols, Access Control Lists, IPv4 and IPv6.In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Selective Placement Factor for this position. This means possession of this criterion is part of the minimum qualifications and is essential to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
