About the Position: US ARMY HUMAN RESOURCES COMMAND PERSONNEL INFO SYS DIR IT RESOURCE MGMT DIV PERSONNEL SERVICES BR, FORT KNOX, KENTUCKY.
Duties
Act as liaison and personally consults with specialists in the servicing CPAC concerning positions, classification, and employee relations.
Serve as the directorate awards administrator.
Perform in/out processing of civilian and/or military personnel.
Monitor all realignment/reassignment to ensure that such actions are valid and properly executed and documented.
Serve as in and out-processing specialist for the directorate on personnel and pay related matters.
Advise the Branch Chief on management and control of records (i.e. storage, retrieval, and routing of records, rating schemes, manning documents, personnel accountability reporting and files for organizations with similar missions and functions).
Utilize Human Resource programs and software to accomplish daily assignments such as IPPS-A, IPERMS, EES, Leave policies.
Serve as the Military Pay Liaison between Soldiers and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) for issues and problems related to leave and earnings.
Gather and analyze data for civilian personnel manning to utilize in briefings to senior leadership - on organizational structure and/or workforce utilization
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- You may be expected to travel up to 5% for this position.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as a liaison with a servicing organization; processing new employees into an organization; implementing organizational policies and procedures regarding personnel management; and serving as a liaison to handle pay issues for employees.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. [remove LL.B or J.D., if unrelated] in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: [insert applicable field(s) of study].

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
