Someone that has experience fostering new and existing relationships between Federal, State, local, tribal, territorial, nongovernmental organizations and the private sector and would be able to implement community disaster relief programs and mass care services at a moments notice.

To qualify for this Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Implementing and monitoring disaster recovery operations and programs with goals and deliverables;
Managing and coordinating work assignments for subordinates; monitoring performance through the completion of projects or assignments; and
Collaborating with stakeholders to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of programs.
