This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office on Trafficking in Persons, located in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties

The purpose of this position is for the incumbent to collaborate with numerous Federal and non-Federal partners to strengthen coordination on training, technical assistance, and capacity building, including represent OTIP on working groups and committees such as Ad Hoc Working Group on American Indian and Alaska Natives under the Senior Policy Operating Group of the President's Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. Duties Include: Recommends and implements programs and projects to address challenges experienced by States, Tribal communities, cities, and service providers on issues that cut across multiple service programs in response to human trafficking and capacity building statutory authority and policy. Identifies and explores alternatives, outlines options and prepares comprehensive recommendations to ensure the development and implementation of effective human trafficking capacity building programs. Develops program guidance, special reports related to oversight and accountability, and guidelines concerning the ongoing operations of the anti-trafficking capacity-building program. The incumbent drafts plans and carries out assignments, resolves most of the conflicts that arise, coordinates work with others as necessary, and communicates approved policies. Analyzes new legislation to identify opportunities to build capacity of antitrafficking stakeholders, advocates and communities and recommends evidence-based cutting-edge resources.

Analyzing new legislation to identify new opportunities to build capacity of antitrafficking stakeholders and communities; 4.
