In this position you will serve as an Intelligence Operations Specialist - Counterintelligence Officer within the Counterintelligence Branch. The position is responsible for counterintelligence activities to identify, deceive, exploit, disrupt, or protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, sabotage, or assassinations conducted for or on behalf of foreign powers, organizations, or persons, or their agents or international terrorist organizations or their activities.

To qualify for this Intelligence Operations Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Collecting and referring data gathered through counterintelligence investigations.
Performing functional services and overt collection of data, identifying, mitigating and disrupting FIE activities.
Communicating intelligence research to internal and external stakeholders verbally or in writing.
Preparing and sharing of intelligence reports and briefings.
