Duties
You will conduct formal review of Course Description Data/Program of Instruction (CDD/POI) for assigned POIs prior to submission to higher headquarters.
You will make sure adherence with Marine Corps policies and standards.
You will verify that course content accurately reflects the purpose and scope of each course of instruction conducted at School of Infantry West SIO (W)
You will provide editorial oversight to ensure CDD/POI reflects correct grammar, spelling, and syntax, and replicates the approved Individual Training Standards, where applicable, for each course reviewed.
You will serve as a consultative expert on the SAT process for courseware development, and use the MCTIMS program to produce both paper copy and electronic versions for the CDD and POI.
You will maintain liaison with command contracts such as, Training Administrators, Training Officers, and training section personnel tasked with development of instructional materials.
You will provide guidance to training battalions in the interpretation of the SAT process, MCAISM, and policy changes from higher headquarters.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Working knowledge of the System Approach Training (SAT) implementation process and the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) curriculum development program.

B. I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
or
C. I have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
or
D. I have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
or
E. I have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Interpreting Marine Corps policy, performing courseware review functions and recommending corrective actions when discrepancies are found; conduct formal review of Course Description Data/Programs of Instruction (CDD/POIs) for assigned POIs prior to submission to higher headquarters.

B. I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.

C. I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.

or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
Applicant can also qualify through a combination of education and experience that when both are combined equals 100%.
