This position is located in Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Smithsonian Facilities (SF), Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR).  The incumbent for this position serves under the general supervision of the Craft Shop Supervisor.  The employee builds and maintains the Institution's electrical infrastructure. 

Duties

The Electrician provides electrical services throughout the Smithsonian facilities for the installation of electrical wiring systems, fixtures, controls and equipment for the mission, health, comfort and safety of occupants and visitors and serves under the general supervision of the Craft Shop Supervisor.
