About the Position: Serves as Branch Supervisor of the Future Deployment Information Systems Branch and as senior specialist and technical advisor to the Director, Deployment Process Modernization Office (DPMO). The DPMO mission is to serve as the single point of contact for deployment, to develop requirements and expertise on deployment doctrine and procedures Army-wide, and to articulate Army deployment requirements to the Joint community.

Duties

Review policies, procedures, regulations, and information system business processes. Validate Branch work on total Army deployment and redeployment requirements. Plan work such as establishing priorities and schedules. Work with the Army Enterprise to develop a future deployment information system.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
