As the Lead Human Resources Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for providing leadership and managing the Federal Highway Administration’s employee relations program. In this area, you will serve as a principal advisor to the Director, Office of Human Resources, to key officials of FHWA, and to managers and supervisors.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience in providing advisory and consultation services to include interpreting and analyzing laws, regulations and policies concerning agency or OA-wide HR.
Experience working difficult and controversial Federal employee relations cases within an agency or equivalent level, including conduct and performance cases.
