About the Position: This position is located at US Army Accessions Command US Army Recruiting BDE (Western) Command Group Headquarters Commandant North Las Vegas, NV.

Duties

Advise brigade on status of assigned HR actions, problems encountered, and recommend solutions. Provide guidance on military awards processing procedures. Forward approved leave requests to the servicing finance unit to ensure leave dates are correctly processed. Serve as an alternate government purchase card holder.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
  • This position requires the employee to successfully complete and pass the U.S. Postal Service Postal Operations Training within 1-year of employment.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Human Resources, Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
