The incumbent serves as an Administrative Support Assistant in the Management and Operations Division (MOD), Human Capital Branch, Executive Office of the President (EOP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The incumbent reports to the Human Capital Director.

Duties
The Human Capital Branch provides OMB policy and management officials with expert management advice, consultation and assistance in OMB personnel matters. This includes providing assistance, and reviewing and recommending organization alternatives to enhance OMB's performance in the crucial area of human resources (HR) management. As a Administrative Support Assistant, GS, 0303, 7/8, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Manage the Organization's Employee Onboarding and Offboarding program, employee experience, and administers the check-in and check-out procedures for Agency employees.
Assist in registration and payment for training for Agency staff.
Plans, develops, and executes administrative support functions within the human capital branch.
Responsible for efficient day-to-day management of human capital operations.
Provides administrative assistance and support to the human capital technical and analytical functions.
Work assignments are based on cyclical, ongoing, and ad hoc administrative support requirements related to office functions.
Requirements

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of one full year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in Federal Service or equivalent pay band or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
For the GS-07 grade level:
Specialized Experience: For the GS-07 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal serviceor equivalent experience in the private sector that demonstrates carrying out administrative tasks and serve as conduit between local office and upper echelons to advise others on proper methods regarding operational procedures for the Organization.
For the GS-08 grade level:
Specialized Experience: For the GS-08 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal serviceor equivalent experience in the private sector that demonstrates 1.) Carrying out administrative tasks and serve as conduit between local office and upper echelons to advise others on administrative matters. 2.) Advise managers on operational procedures pertaining to organizational processes AND 3.) Experience interpreting and applying administrative regulations, policies, or procedures.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
