This National Guard position is for a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH) (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGT5802700 and is part of the TN 134th ARW, Air National Guard.

Duties
As a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH), GS-2210-12 (TITLE 5) you will provide primary oversight of IT infrastructure planning projects requiring new or modified IT infrastructure. Develops information technology project plans. Supervises the daily operation of technicians engaged in the planning and engineering for the installation, testing, analysis, modification, and repair of complex and state of the art C4I systems and infrastructures. Serve as primary point of contact for projects assigned with sponsor/customer. Review and analyze all projects upon completion. Ensure formulation of comprehensive training plans for each function and specialty within their supervision. Perform other duties as assigned.

- The employee will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties.
- A waiver of this six month requirement may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3. Failure to receive the proper IA certification may result in removal from this position.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

- This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
- For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver’s license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience managing, supervising, leading, administering, developing, delivering, and supporting information technology (IT) systems and services. Experience of IT principles, concepts, and methods, e.g., data storage, software applications, networking.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower GS level. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel; experience planning the sequence of actions necessary to accomplish the assignment where this entailed coordination with others outside the organizational unit and development of project controls. Experience that required adaptations of guidelines or precedents to meet the needs of the assignment. Experience preparing documentation on cost/benefit studies where is involved summarizing the material and organizing it in a logical fashion.
