Duties
Incumbent is a senior building operations specialist responsible for the McNamara Headquarters Complex (HQC) interior furnishings, design, and space management.
Plans, coordinates, and administers the execution of interior furnishings, maintenance, repair, alterations, and construction on a 100-acre complex.
Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative for the systems furniture contract, Interior Design contract, and furnishings purchase orders.
Identifies specific requirements for funding, manpower, materials, and services needed to support the program.
Monitors and enforces Federal, DoD and DLA, EPA policies, guidance and laws safety regulations and other policies.
Plans layouts of office space using a variety of systems, to include AutoCAD.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Facilities Operations Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Experience in maintenance, repair, and construction activities pertaining to interior design. Examples include systems furniture, furniture specification, lighting, space design and space management.
Resolving reported building maintenance issues and performs daily inspections of the facility.
Developing layouts and construction drawings in AutoCAD 2014 or higher.

Education
