Duties
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement web content and social media strategies across all CHIPS digital channels to engage stakeholders and communicate program information.
Analyze characteristics of diverse target audiences and usage patterns across platforms to inform strategic decisions on optimal content formats, messaging, and distribution channels.
Design, manage, and update the functionality, information architecture, navigation, and visual design of the CHIPS.gov website and its associated digital channels to create an advanced user experience that communicates program information updates.
Create, design, and upload new website features, interactive tools, and multimedia content for the CHIPS.gov website to enhance user engagement.
Analyze website and social media metrics, user engagement data, feedback, and online commentary to evaluate content performance and make recommendations for strategy adjustments.
Coordinate with internal CHIPS communications staff and external stakeholders/partners to ensure transparency in content creation workflows and adherence to proper content clearance processes.

Qualifications
This position requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 (ZA-II at NIST) level. Specialized experience is defined as:
Developing digital content strategies and editorial calendars for websites and social media platforms to support organizational goals and engage target audiences;
Designing and implementing website layouts and multimedia content using web content management systems, HTML, CSS, and design software; and
Monitoring and analyzing website and social media performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize user experience and engagement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
