Duty Location: Redding, California
Duties
Duties at full performance, but not limited to:
*Provide daily computer input and retrieval support functions required for the proper
upkeep of Reclamation Enterprise Maintenance Management System (REMMS).
*Assists the Program Analyst in retrieving and analyzing data from The Capital Asset and
Resource Management Application (CARMA) software database for evaluation and inclusion
into reports. CARMA reports are used to track resources (dollars, labor, material, and
equipment) required to complete a project/job, document detailed history on equipment, and
provides documentation needed to carry out failure mode and effects analysis on equipment.
*Collects and compiles various data requests from CARMA and other sources as required
during the year.
*Collects and interfaces data from CARMA, FIRS, and E-TAS systems to identify improper
use of work orders or other related problems caused by users.
*Modifies signature security, assign, and reassign user's password and adds groups and users to the CARMA database as requested by the Program Analyst. Adds, deletes, and moves information associated with CARMA modules, tables, and screens to ensure information is appropriate, being filled out correctly, completely, and in accordance with establish CARMA business practices.
Qualifications

GS-05: To qualify at the GS-05, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-04 level in federal service having demonstrated experience which includes but not limited to: Preparing accurate reports and updating records; following policies, procedures, and regulations; monitor work orders.
OR
Successful completion of 4 years (120 semester hours) of education obtained in an accredited college or university in any field. NOTE: You must provide a copy of your transcripts.
OR
An equivalent combination of successfully completed education obtained in an accredited college or university and experience. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. NOTE: You must provide a copy of your transcripts.
GS-06: To qualify at the GS-06, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-05 level in federal service having demonstrated experience which includes but not limited to: Preparing accurate reports and updating records; following policies, procedures, and regulations; receive, document and records maintenance information from project work units and monitor work orders.
OR
Successful completion of at least 9 semester hours of graduate level education obtained in an accredited college or university may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. NOTE: You must provide a copy of your transcripts.
OR
An equivalent combination of successfully completed graduate level education obtained in an accredited college or university that is directly related to the work of the position and specialized experience. NOTE: You must provide a copy of your transcripts.
GS-07: To qualify at the GS-07, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-06 level in federal service having demonstrated experience with but not limited to: Preparing accurate reports and updating records; following policies, procedures, and regulations; retrieving and analyzing data from the automated systems, such as (Capital Assess and Resources Management Application (CARMA), or equivalent software databases; receive, document and records maintenance information from project work units and monitor work orders.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including any selective placement factors if applicable, by 05/06/2024.
Education
This vacancy announcement allows substituting education for experience at the GS-05 and GS-06 grade levels. You must submit a copy of college transcript(s) (unofficial copy is acceptable) to support claimed education if substituting education for experience. Transcripts must include the name of the college or university and date the degree was conferred. A typed list of courses, grades, semester/quarter hours, GPA, etc. will not be accepted. Non-submission may result in being rated not-qualified for the position.
You will be required to provide official college transcripts to verify educational qualifications, if selected. An official transcript must be sent directly from the University's Registrar's office and must be provided from the institution awarding the degree. Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
