This position is located at Departmental Offices,Domestic Finance. As an Administrative Management Specialist, you will assist Domestic Finance senior executives with their executive responsibilities.

Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As an Administrative Management Specialist, you will:
-Participate in special projects and assignments and assist Senior Management in a wide variety of management functions.
-Provide administrative support for the Office of Domestic Finance personnel.
-Research and develop/investigate new or improved business management practices for application to agency programs or operations.
-Complete arrangements meetings and conferences, including scheduling meetings and handling all logistics such as building access, clearance verification, conference room reservation, sending invitations, and escorting guests.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-12 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include:
-Planning and coordinating meeting arrangements and conferences by completing such duties as: scheduling, speaking and acting for the office official in assigned areas, answering questions and/or making commitments on the officials behalf; AND
-Performing various tasks such as processing travel orders and claims, timekeeping, training requests, mail filing, and weekly reports; AND
-Researching and developing new or improved administrative practices for application to office programs and effectively presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
Specialized experience for the GS-11 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-09 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include:
-Planning and coordinating meeting arrangements, and conferences by completing such duties as: scheduling, speaking and acting for the office official in assigned areas, answering questions and/or making commitments on the officials behalf; AND
-Assisting with tasks such as processing travel orders and claims, timekeeping, training requests, mail filing, and weekly reports; AND
-Identifying new or improved administrative practices for application to office programs and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
OR EDUCATION: You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You may qualify by a combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience; the total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Education
The education generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. If you are qualifying based on foreign education, you must submit proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency. Refer to the
