The Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) is considered a technical expert within the FAA for an assigned system and specialty area.
Duties
This position is an ATSS (Team Lead) represents an Operations Control Center within the NAS Security & Enterprise Operations (NASEO) Directorate as the primary point of contact on matters associated with maintenance control activities, emerging technologies and customer concerns. Maintains the highest degree of technical knowledge on integrated systems within a broad area of expertise.

- Valid state driver's license is required.
Qualifications
There is no timeframe requirement at the Level IV/FV-I to compete. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility that is appropriate to the position. Experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of and experience in technology system interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems. Generally, experience at the next lower level Pay Band H/level IV or FG/GS-13 or equivalent, meets the minimum qualifications for this position as long as the experience supports the demonstrated abilities identified below.Specialized experience is: Experience with applying knowledge of the National and Service Area policies to provide real-time Quality Assurance of Logging and Remote Monitoring activities within a Technical Operations Control Center (TOCC) this includes collaborating with multiple customers to shut down and restore facilities, systems, and services to minimize disruption of services to the flying public.Demonstrated Abilities:
