Serves as a Supervisory Airway Transportation Systems Specialist, with full management responsibility for the Network Enterprise Management Center (NEMC) Sub Team within the Enterprise Operations Group, NAS Security and Enterprise Operations. The NEMC Sub Team provides support to first level maintenance activities for assigned NAS enterprise services and infrastructure.
Duties
Manages staff in either/or both Salt Lake City, UT and Hampton, GA that provide 24/7 operational support with rotating shifts. The duties have a direct impact on the NAS. Has full responsibility for overall administrative, technical, and operational direction of the assigned workforce consisting of ATSSs and support staff involved in providing critical NAS services to enroute and terminal air traffic control, commercial airlines, general aviation aircraft, in support of both U.S. and international air traffic.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- Valid state driver's license is required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Experience includes: Experience with the critical and complex FAA hosted application services within the NEMC and the understanding of how they support an enterprise approach to NAS infrastructure and operations.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Applicants may be asked to verify information on your application for employment with the FAA.
