This position is regular Part-Time Seasonal for the Sam Adams Pub, Lily Pad Cafe, GP Grill, and Catering Food and Beverage Operations at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ typically from February to November with 20 guaranteed hours per week and eligible to participate in the NAF Benefits program and leave accrual. Duties

Assists/leads other employees; setting the pace, demonstrating proper work methods, conducting on-the-job training, and communicating work assignments to the workers being lead. Prepares a limited variety of fast-food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish, chicken sandwiches, and French fries, etc. Prepares/slices vegetables for sandwiches and salads. Removes perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities. Maintains standards of sanitation, safety, and service. Assures tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared/cleaned. Cleans work areas to include walls, floors, equipment, and storage area. Prepares reports as required. Orders fast food items, condiments, linens, and other necessary supplies. Accepts food orders from patrons and serves alcoholic beverages (10%). May work on a mobile food cart to deliver food and drink to patrons.

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Pre-employment physicals are required.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a medical examination, and a Tier 1 background investigation is required.
• Completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Willing and able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures, indoor kitchen/dining environments, and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions running a food cart.
• Light to heavy physical effort is required. Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Willing and able to work at a Food Service location set within an outdoor water park. Must be willing and able to work in conditions associated with an outdoor water park environment.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include rotating shifts daytime, nights and weekends.
