This position is located in Service Center Operations Directorate, California Service Center.
As an Supervisory Immigration Services Analyst, you will assess the effectiveness of program operations, analyze and resolve problems, provide technical and administrative supervision to the unit, and adjust work operations to meet priorities within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity and quality work.
Duties
Adjusts processes to meet priorities or changing programs or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity and quality of work.
Finds ways to improve production or increase the quality of work directed.
Coordinates with other unit supervisors and peers to establish unit objectives, goals, priorities, and deadlines, and to formulate plans to meet substantial changes in workload.
Provides direction and guidance to nonsupervisory employees and oversees the work of contractors through contract
managerial personnel in multiple facilities.
Develops performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
Provides advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Gathers, analyzes, and organizes qualitative and quantitative data to review program progress or performance.
Monitors/reviews studies in progress or on completion and presents findings to top level management.
Qualifications

GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on operating programs that requires applying qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
Conducting analyses of work processes including the examination of production standards and workloads.
Serving on working groups or teams to further organizational goals or improve program and management processes or systems.
Facilitating or participating in projects, and gathering input from stakeholders.
Performing research which involves the search and examination of records and databases to obtain information on cases, policies, procedures, and trends to make determinations and evaluations on case type or case specific problems.
Conducting data queries; validating and analyzing data; and, creating reports, graphs, charts, dashboards, and other visualizations for management on program elements.
