This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Operations Group Training and Communication and is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of the Division’s strategic learning plan and examiner training and overall knowledge management efforts within the Division.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience leading Risk Management examinations and evaluating financial institution safety, soundness, and risk posed to the insurance fund.
CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience leading Risk Management examinations of larger and more complex insured depository institutions and evaluating financial institution safety, soundness, and risk posed to the insurance fund; and providing technical advice, counsel, and guidance to staff regarding special situations, complex examinations, enforcement matters, and/or regulatory applications of insured financial institutions.
Candidates must be a Commissioned Risk Examiner in the FDIC or another organization with comparable commissioning criteria used by the FDIC's Division of Risk Management Supervision.
