You will serve as an LVC PLANNING AND SUPPORT ANALYST in the Fleet Training Atlantic Division of NAVSURFMINEWARDEVCEN DET LITTLE CREEK.

Duties

You will serve as a Planning and Support Lead, providing technical and operational expertise in facilitating planning, configuration, and execution of LVC enhanced training events. You will support daily operations, exercise planning and execution of LVC events and other Advanced Tactical Training events. You will develop exercise control procedures for all LVC enhanced training events. You will coordinate LVC integration into Advanced Phase Training and ensure delivered LVC capabilities contribute to the enhancement of training objectives. You will act as the Surface Force LVC integration and technical subject matter expert. You will aid in defining the specific program goals, and ensure the establishment of supporting goals and milestones in coordination with functional elements to ensure optimum execution in terms of schedule, readiness, scope, and quality. You will identify solutions in situations with competing agendas and interests, while maintaining cohesiveness in program effort and direction.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing Naval shipboard combat training systems (i.g., Aegis and Ship Self Defense Systems), or related Military training system architectures and distributed synthetic training architectures to develop or enhance program objectives in support of advanced tactical training.
