Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Foreman I Laborer. Duty Location: Lower Colorado Basin Region, Lower Colorado Dams Office, Hoover Dam Field Division, Maintenance Office, General Facilities Maintenance Group located at the Hoover Dam in Clark County, NV.

Duties

Provides leadership for employees performing laborer and custodial work of the Team consisting of loading and unloading of materials and equipment, moving and stacking materials, moving and arranging furniture, cleaning within the power plant and throughout the grounds, and collecting and disposing refuse. As a working foreman, continually advises supervisor on progress of all work being performed, production problems encountered, and the completion dates of work in progress. Ensures that problems or obstacles are brought to the attention of the supervisor and/or Maintenance Office Director for appropriate decision or action. Conducts meetings on accepted safety practices and procedures. Instructs subordinates and provides guidance on approved work methods, technical practices, and safety methods to be used. Corrects any unsafe condition or rule infraction. Operates jib cranes and hoists, street sweeper, forklifts, backhoes, bucket trucks and skid steer loaders. Ensures all written documents such as JHA's, Special Work permits, work orders, and Clearances are completed properly for each task and presented to the supervisor for review.
