Duties

This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement Headquarters, Office of Human Resources. This position is being advertised as both location negotiable after selection and with a duty station(s) of Washington, DC with the option of telework. If applying to "negotiable after selection", this means that your duty station will be based off your home address and you will be a full-time remote worker. If applying to a specific duty station, you may be allowed to telework a set number of day(s) per pay period, with supervisory approval. At the full performance level (GS-14) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Serving as the OHR Operations Team Leader for the development and implementation of recruitment and staffing, position classification and management, and employee benefits. Providing input in the planning and coordination of work, identifying needs, proposing and executing special projects, reviewing work and providing technical guidance to employees within area of assignment. Developing and presenting information briefings for managers, supervisors, and employees using topic outlines, visual aids, handouts, etc. Providing management advisory services related to problems and issues within assigned area and which involve other human resources specialties. Providing expert advice on matters pertaining to regulations, policies and procedures governing human resources functions in areas of position management and classification, pay administration, recruitment and placement, incentives, and in determining operating procedures are accomplished according to Federal, Agency, and Bureau regulations and directives Salary Information: Washington, DC GS-14: $139,395 (Step 1) - $181,216 (Step 10) per annum. *Remote Location: GS-14: $104,604 (Step 1) - $135,987 (Step 10) per annum. *This is the base GS salary rate. If the applicant is selected for a remote location, pay will be set according to selectee's geographic area. This vacancy may be used to fill additional positions as vacancies become available. Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series/grade to which you are applying. Specialized Experience To qualify for the GS-14, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: Providing advisory services and analysis on staffing requirements, recruitment strategies, special emphasis programs and resources; Preparing reports, maintaining records of work accomplished and presenting information, such as HR Analytics, Time-to-Hire, etc., to a variety of audiences; and Researching and analyzing legislation, regulations, guidelines, and decisions related to recruitment and/or workforce planning. Must meet all.
