You will serve as a SECURITY OFFICER (ANTI-TERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION) in the of Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic (CNSL) Operations and Plans Directorates (N3) COMNAVSURFLANT.

Duties
You will be responsible for the development, implementation and of security programs and law enforcement coordination for Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic (CNSL).
You will direct the anti-terrorism (AT), program and policy development at the CNSL (Two-Star level).
You will be responsible for developing, communication and implementing AT/FP Program mission capabilities , short and long -term (5+years) strategic and tactical objectives and goals as required.
You will advise staff regarding policies, procedure, and directives of higher level manage management or headquarters.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing multiple complex team studies requiring application of advance analytical and evaluative methods.

- Must posses a broad military and/or civilian background in AT, Counterintelligence Surveillance Detection.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Planning, developing, administering, and coordinating both long- and short-range complex force protection security programs;
Providing command direction and oversight in tailoring curriculum development at AT Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP), Navy Mission Essential Task Lists (NMETL) and equipage for establishing AT/FP as a vital warfare mission area;
Adhering to force protection security processes, methods, techniques systems, and devices to function as the CNSL technical authority in Anti-Terrorism mission area;
Applying force protection policy requirements in order to function as the technical authority in applying new theories and concepts in developing new AT/Training programs, and correcting programs not addressed by prescribed security methods, tactics, techniques, technology or procedures;
Evaluating overall plans and proposals of major governing, (e.g., DOD/DON), and interdepartmental/agency identity management security projects and in implementing national level guidance for governing, (e.g., DOD/DON), standards, guidelines, and policies for AT programs areas; AND
Reviewing and inspecting working performed by contractors to determined if the work meets required standards of adequacy necessary for authorization of payment.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Must posses a broad military and/or civilian background in AT, Counterintelligence Surveillance Detection, to interpret directive, assist subordinate commands in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Pre-Planned Responses (PPR), and to provide instruction in the various areas supporting subordinate command's exercise schedules.
