About the Position: This position is with the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, 642 Regional Support Group, 143 Expeditionary Sustainment Command located at Decatur, Georgia.

Duties

Coordinate with facilities to assist service members and dependents with medical issues. Provide assistance with follow-up care regarding line-of-duty injuries and illnesses. Process enrollment and resolve complex eligibility issues concerning TRICARE Prime Remote, TRICARE Reserve Select, TRICARE Extended Care Health Option (ECHO). Manage Post Deployment Health Reassessment Program. Prepare reports and recommend actions to correct/improve health care program and healthcare readiness deficiencies. Develop policy memoranda and Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) which is precise and easy to understand pertaining to health care benefits. Coordinate with health care facilities to validate health care entitlements for active component and reserve military personnel. Advise service members and dependents about their medical entitlements. Provide technical guidance to service member dependents on health care benefits and services available through TRICARE, the Army Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP), and Title V Programs for Children with Special Needs.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Healthcare Management and Healthcare Services Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
