About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Bde, Army Logistics Readiness Center,Plans and Operations Division, Fort Dix NJ.

Duties

Develop and execute the budget for organization. Apply budgetary policies, practices and procedures for organization's operations. Reconcile official accounting system data utilizing General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Syncada, Defense Travel System, and Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A). Perform financial oversight for contracts in the areas of budget programming, cost control, vendor policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
  • Position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel approximately 15% of the time.
  • Position requires incumbent to obtain a Financial Management Certification Level 2 within 2 years of appointment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationBudget ExecutionControl of FundsFinancial Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
