Duties
Serves as the Aquatics Program Manager responsible for the daily operation and supervision of aquatics, training and recreational programs, personnel, and classes at aquatic facilities.
Responsible for planning and administering a wide range of fairly typical, conventional and well-established basic aquatic activities.
Plans and coordinates details for reoccurring and nonrecurring aquatic, fitness, instructional, and joint community programs.
Provides timely reports to the Sports, Fitness and Aquatics Director or Chief CRD as required or necessary.
Establishes and executes processes to evaluate the effectiveness of the aquatic programs.
Requirements

- A Physical Examination is required.
- Working between Fort Stewart, GA and Hunter Army Airfield, GA is required.
Qualifications
Possesses demonstrated experience in planning, administering and executing aquatic programs. This experience may have been gained managing indoor or outdoor aquatic programs and facilities. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level. An undergraduate or graduate degree in related fields such as physical education or kinesiology may be substituted for six (6) months of the required work experience. Ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment, and maintain, the following certifications:-American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid-CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED-Lifeguard Instructor (Red Cross)-Water Safety Instructor (Red Cross)-Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO).
Highly Desirable:
-Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (Red Cross)
-Water Safety Instructor Trainer (Red Cross)
-Equipment (Safe Operation and Basic Maintenance Repair);
-Nationally Recognized Basic Fitness Trainer Certification or Aquatic Exercise Association Instructor;
-Adapted Aquatics Instructor.
Education
An undergraduate or graduate degree in related fields such as physical education or kinesiology may be substituted for six (6) months of the required work experience.
